About Poche SA+NT

South Australia & Northern Territory Poche Centres
Poche SA+NT is an Aboriginal-led health centre of Flinders University, with offices in Darwin, Alice Springs and Adelaide, focused on supporting health country, health communities and health leaders.
The centre is led by Associate Professor Maree Meredith and is empowered by a strong, capable and visionary team composed primarily of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Poche SA+NT has committed to training 500 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health leaders by 2025 and is leading a national conversation defining and supporting Indigenous health leaders.
The centre is focused on understanding and introducing holistic approaches that address the root causes of disease and disadvantage.
The centre works in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, seeking to change the conversation about Indigenous health to improve outcomes.
