Our Patron and Chair Professor Tom Calma AO
“The progress being made is heartening and exciting because it will have a lasting impact, taking us several great strides towards a healthier future”.
Poche Centres are located in universities and the collective knowledge, experience and authority of university research can be harnessed to tackle wicked and emerging challenges in Indigenous health, well-being and affairs. Poche research is led by Indigenous academics and professionals, is co-designed with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and most often has an applied focus.
